In fifth grade we are the oldest here at the school that means we are the most responsible at Brookview some things we do. Is reading in reading we do inferring: theme, character traits, character motives, character feelings, author's message, and word meanings. In writing we do stuff like revising and editing, we use technology to write a story, and we do a research report. In social studies we do are field trip to BizTown is the big 5th grade field trip, which is part of our economics unit. BizTown encompasses important aspects of work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy, providing students with a solid foundation of business, economics, and free enterprise education. Students participate in daily lessons at school to learn more about the topics mentioned and apply their knowledge and learning at JA BizTown, where students become citizens and acts as business leaders and employees offering public and private good services. In fifth grade we also have character club and if you get violations then you can't go to character club the first violation is free, second violation is no character club, third violation is no character club, and 10 minutes of recess, forth violation is no character club, and miss all your recess, fifth violation no character club, miss all of recess, and a phone call home, six violation no character club, lunch/recess spent in office, phone call home, seven violation no character club, day spent in office, phone call home.
